Following a $4-million contemporary-Euro-style makeover, this sleek "friendly" chain spot in the West County district just blocks from the Westport Plaza shopping and entertainment complex is a "luxurious" pick laud loyalists who love the "so comfortable" beds ("wish I could take one home") and Neutrogena products in the "modern" baths; the indoor pool and Jacuzzi are "great places to relax on a winter evening" and the "delicious" signature chocolate-chip cookies are so good "one is just not enough", but drivers deem the "confusing" interstate location "hard to get to."

Nice bed- quiet slept well- bar restaurant, and nice atmosphere.
The gym needed more equipment - but what they had was nice.
Good staff good location, well kept bar area was nice- classy good for sitting down and discussing the days events.

The continental breakfast cost $17 per person and it was not worth it. Eggs were mushy, sausage was cold, and the fruit did not taste fresh.

Friendly desk folk and PERFECT room - clean, quiet and comfortable.
Met folk in elevator at 10 pm who said hot tub was a COLD tub.
I always hope I get the Doubletree when I name my own price for Westport/St. Louis. Rooms are very nice - lots of pillows - the lobby is finished now and looking fine, desk staff are most accommodating and have warm cookies.
